The world is fast shrinking to a digital universe and the access to diverse cultures and their religio-political, economical perspectives lay wide open to anybody. In this backdrop, it’s time to table the Quranic approaches to these diverse viewpoints and they are of paramount importance. Discourses of a society structure their public consciousness and modes of their rituals and practices.
The Quran, being a religious text, has been read and re-read in the contexts of various philosophical , political , historical , literary and gender discussions. This academic conference plans to shed light on the Quranic discourses on some of such emerging topics of discussions. With the title “Quranic Approach to the Emerging Discourses”, the conference initiates serious academic inquiry into Quranic viewpoints in some of such topics like ecology, literature, gender, and morality.
The faculty members and research scholars who are interested to participate in Academia Commune as discussants are requested to send their abstract on the above-mentioned subthemes.
